5th Chakra

Today, the focus of my discussion with clients in the online class was fifth chakra.  Fifth chakra relates to speaking your truth. As an energy center it revitalizes the truth of who you are.

It is through fifth chakra that we birth our thoughts.  What I love about fifth chakra is that it helps us manifest the energy of our other chakras.  What we think fuels what we say.  What we say, we create.  Often, we bring what is in the other chakras out through fifth chakra.

Think about second chakra, the creative abode.  How do you express your creativity?  Do you sing? Write?  Participate in an activity with others?  How does your your fifth chakra facilitate what you create?

Third chakra energizes our sense of self, our ability to manifest in the world.  How does your fifth chakra facilitate, energize, express your sense of self, what you manifest in the world?   How you feel and think about yourself? What do you say about yourself?

As each of our chakras expands, shifts, changes, so does what we say, and how we speak our truth. Fifth chakra is affected by the changes in other chakras.

Notice how you speak when all of your chakras are cleared and balanced.  Does your voice change?  How do others respond to you when your chakras are aligned and balanced and you speak your truth?

As I clear and balance my chakras everyday, I ask that they all be harmonized too.  It’s fantastic to clear and balance chakras, and I also want each of them to be in harmony with each other.

After we talked about the connections between each of the other chakras and fifth chakra, I shared a harmonizing and energizing meditation with the group and thought I’d share it with everyone.  Enjoy!

Get comfortable.  Take a few deep breaths and relax. Inhale and exhale at your own pace.  Imagine letting go of everything.  If you want to physically facilitate the idea of clearing and letting go, shake your hands–fling them down or up–blow out really quickly, and say I let go.

Draw a generous column of light, at least 3 – 4 inches thick down down around your light body. See the light of this column as you see divine light–whatever color that is for you.  It might be sparkly.  It might be irredescent or have color in it.  The most divine light you can imagine.  Have that generous column of light extend all the way down to the heart of mother/father Earth, connecting mother/father God–the masculine and feminine of divine energy–and mother/father Earth.  Creating a flow of energy passing through you.

On the inside of the column, draw down a shower of light in a vibration that allows you to release anything you are ready to release.  As you draw down the shower of light, imagine your light body, and if you experiences any dark spots, resistance, sticky parts ask that the shower transmute or wash away anything that you are ready to let go of.  The shower of light passes through each of your chakras in your light body, flowing all the way through to mother/father Earth. Run it through your light body and each of the chakras, like a magic eraser, transmuting anything you are ready to let go of.  Notice how your light body feels as the shower flows all the way through to mother/father Earth.  Return your attention to the column of light.  Notice how it feels.  Now, draw down another shower of light on the inside of that column.  Notice if the light body and chakras are clearer, smoother, freer, and if the shower runs right through all the way to mother/father Earth.  If there are any places you need to spend time on, run the shower of light over and around and through until you feel clear.

Now, we are going to pump up the energy inside the column of light with love.  Imagine breathing through your heart chakra.  Imagine breathing love into the column by sending it into the tube from your heart chakra.  Notice how as the inside of the column fills with love, the column expands and shifts into a circle of light, a bubble of loving, glowing light around your light body.  The column expands and expands until it forms the circle of light, and as it shape shifts, you may notice the light change colors.  What color is the light? What colors feel loving? Beautiful?  Comforting? Notice the fullness and shape of your bubble.  Is it symmetrical? Does any area need attention, rounding out anywhere?  Direct loving breath to any area that needs it.  Notice the color.  Experience your love bubble as the most beautiful bubble of light you are capable of creating. Feel in harmony with this light space, this bubble of love.

Now, as you breath love into this harmonized, loving light bubble, it expands.  It doubles in size. You make room in this bubble of love.  Ask that the bubble of love stay inflated.  Now, rotate counterclockwise the outer light shell  and once you get it spinning, rotate the inside of the light bubble clockwise.  Notice what happens when both rotate.

Bring your attention back to your own light body inside of the love bubble.  Think about something you would like to harmonize.  It could be a person, an experience, a relationship, your relationship with an event, something you’d like to create.  Invite this thing into your your love bubble, letting it know you would like to harmonize.  Actually say to it:  “I’d like to harmonize with you.”  I’d like to be in a balanced relationship with you, in which all involved feel love, appreciation, comfort, and joy through this engagement.  That all involved experience abundance through the engagement. Whatever happens through the harmonizing is for the highest good of all involved.  Invite your request into your light bubble.  If what you invite into your love bubble moves in quickly, easily, lovingly, fantastic.  Breathe with it in your bubble of love.

Sometimes, the movement into the bubble is a little slower.  That’s okay.  Send love.  Be love.  Ask: “what do you need to be in a loving, harmonious relationship with me?  Is there something that you need?  Is there some reason why you are reluctant to be in a loving, harmonious relationship with me so that we all benefit the highest possible good?”  Acknowledge whatever is needed. Give it what it asks for if that feels comfortable to you.  Send it love.  Understanding.  Compassion.  You may not agree with what is asked or stated or said to you.  It’s okay.  Just send it acknowledgement.  Love. Speak your truth to it.   Explain why you want to be in harmony, what you will feel when you are in harmony with it.  Be the vibration of love and watch as it comes more and more into your loving light bubble.  Notice how it moves more and more into your love bubble. Ask that it be fully integrated into your bubble of light love and experience for the highest good of all and that everyone involved experience joy.  Peace.  Harmony.

Now, expand your light bubble.  Continue breathing love into it.  Your love is big enough to encompass all.

Let’s energize your loving light bubble with more divine love.  Imagine, multiple rays of light, in different colors, whatever colors you see, perhaps the beams from a rainbow, beams of divine universal light, coming down from the heavens like lasers of light into your light bubble and bringing all of the vibrations, adding all of the vibrations needed by everyone, all aspects to experience this relationship as the most fulfilling manifestation possible for the highest good of all involved.

Some of the lasers are clearing and balancing.  Some of the lasers are energizing.  Some are bringing the divine vibration of love. Some of the lasers are peace. Notice how your bubble changes as the light lasers support you.  Imagine this relationship, this event, this experience has had the highest vibrational outcome, the most benevolent outcome that’s possible for you and all involved.  Harmony. See yourself in the moment of completion where you have that aha moment of this is amazing.  See yourself in the light bubble harmonized.  How does that feel?  Are you smiling?  Do you see the energy coming off of your body?  The joy?  The love?  The peace?  When you feel the highest possible vibration you can feel for this experience, you are ready to step out into your world and manifest that love.

I encourage you to draw on this feeling, this vibration, this love that you created and manifest it as you speak your truth in the world.

Meditation

I was working with a client this week, and at the end of the session, she told me that another client had shared a meditation that I’d taught her.

I call it a Clev . . . christ light energy vortex–think christ as in christos–pronounced sleeve . . . and it’s a beautiful energy that transmutes lower vibrational energy, grounds one to mother-father God and mother-father Earth, and energizes through connection to divine energy.

Melchizedek gave this to me to share with anyone who would like support.

You can create your own Clev.  Here’s how:

Imagine a column of divine white light coming from mother-father God (Divinity, source energy, universal light force energy, use the term that’s comfortable to you) and extending down into mother-father Earth.

When I see this column, it’s thick–it reminds me of a concrete culvert in that the walls of the column are pretty thick.  The walls sparkle and vibrate, look like tv fuzz to me, sparkly white fuzz.

Once the column is in place, imagine it turning counterclockwise.

While keeping the first column turning counterclockwise, draw down another thick column of divine light on the outside of this one.  When it is connected to mother-father Earth, turn it clockwise.

As this column spins clockwise, an alchemy occurs–the columns somehow become one.

This Clev transmutes energy that vibrates lower than love, so it can help you stay in your own energy.  It grounds you to the Earth and Divinity, and it can be used to energize.  Intend that the Clev remain activated for your perfect and highest good.

I teach this gift to many, and I encourage you to try it to see if you enjoy it.

So, my client shares with me that my other client taught her to Clev.  The first time she did, she received a beautiful affirmation.  Her son and her husband went somewhere, and when they returned home, her son told her, Mom, I missed you while I was gone, and I saw this beautiful white light all around you.

She told me, My son never misses me–has never said he missed me.  And that he saw me in the white light, I knew that the Clev was in place and working.  THANKS! It’s helped me so much!

I love her story, and it motivated me to share the Clev on the blog. I hope you will try Cleving.

I’d love to hear about your experience!

Love the Process of Ascension

Each of us is on a journey, and the journey never ends.  We can choose to love the journey, be indifferent, resist, enjoy, or worry about it.  We control the journey and how we feel about it.  Why not love the ride?  Enjoy the views, the vistas, the slow and the fast, the hills and the bumps, the twists and the turns, the stop lights and the green lights, the other drivers.

Notice how you experience your day.  When all is going well, do you just expect it?  Are you thankful for the flow?  Notice how you respond when you hit what appears to be a snag.  How do you feel?

What happens to you when you are driving down the road and there is road construction?  Do you think, “oh, no, I’m going to be late.” And then proceed to focus on how late you’re going to be, feeling bad each second?  Or do you know that you will arrive in divine timing?

I used to worry about being late and keeping someone waiting for me.  I live pretty far out in the country, and there is so much terrain I cover—anything can happen on the journey.  When I get in the car, I ask that I arrive in perfect timing.  I thank my car for getting me there safely, and I am thankful for everything I experience on my way.  Most of the time, my journey speeds by because I am enjoying it so much.  Sometimes, though, the train is crossing or road construction slows the flow.  Great, I think.  Thank you for slowing me down or giving me this time to breathe or enjoy the view. I know I will arrive in divine timing, so I can relax and enjoy whatever it is.  I often use this gift of time to breathe an enjoy the view.  I like to look around the area and notice what is going on in nature and look up at the the sky.  Noticing what’s beautiful or interesting brings joy to my day.  When I arrive, it’s always perfect timing.  I arrive happy, and so whoever I’m meeting is happy to see me.

Talking about the driving journey is just a metaphor for the journey of life.  Where are you in your life journey?  How do you feel about your journey?  It’s important to note how you feel.  What you feel about the journey reveals what’s inside of you.

If you are happy when you think of your life journey, fantastic!  Are you sharing your joy with others?  Perhaps your life could inspire others to find the joy in their own lives.  Perhaps you can share the joy with each other. I love it when others share something wonderful about their lives with me.  I feel their joy—its abundance evokes joy in me. Anytime we share our joy with others, the feeling is exponentialized in the universe.

What do you want to feel?  If it’s exactly what you want to feel right now, that’s awesome.  Share that abundance with someone else.  If it’s not, can you focus on what you’d like to feel?  Each day, simply focusing on the feeling you would like to create in your life can change the journey for you.  Once you have the feeling, sync with the vibration of it.  If you would like more fun in your life, just feel what fun feels like.  Maybe you can remember a time you were having fun, and then you can connect with what fun felt like in your body. Sync with that feeling as often as you can.  All you have to do is imagine fun and feel it.  Consider when you sit up in bed first thing in the morning, sync with it and ask that the feeling and vibration be with you all day.  What will begin to happen is that as you sync to the vibration of fun, you will attract fun.  When fun shows up, thank it.  Appreciate it.  Fun will come into your life, and as it does, you will be living the fun you wanted to create.

Recently, a client shared that he wasn’t enjoying his job.  When I asked him what he wasn’t enjoying, he mentioned a few things, but mostly what he focused on was the feeling inside of himself.  I asked him if he felt like there was some other job that he would like better.  He didn’t know.  I asked him if he thought with his educational background and experience if he could find something that would make him feel better.  He didn’t know.  I asked him if he wanted to fall in love with his job again.  He said he didn’t know how.  I encouraged him to find the things he loved in his job.  Really notice them.  Thank them.  Feel appreciation for each thing.  Even if he had to start small with I love the temperature of my office.  I love that my paycheck is deposited like clockwork.  I love how short my drive to work is.  I love that I live in a place that has a climate that makes me feel good.  Whatever it was.  I suggested that if for just a week he focused on the things that he liked, he might feel better about his job.  A week later, he felt completely differently.  He was happy again.  He noticed that as he focused on the little things, more that he appreciated became visible.

I believe what happened for him was that as he focused on what he liked, the vibration of happiness became stronger in him.  As the vibration of happiness strengthened, he attracted and was attracted to more of his job that brought him joy.  As he focused on what he liked, more of what he liked came to him.  As more of what he liked was in his experience, less of what he didn’t like was in his experience.

What my client also realized was that he chose his points of focus.  He created his happiness.  As he realized this, he also realized that he had created the other experiences too.  He had created the unhappiness, his dissatisfaction.  It’s true.  He did.  We all do.  In focusing on what he wanted . . . which was to like his job . . . all he had to do was sync with the vibration of liking.

I am working with another client who wants to create a new job for herself.  She was miserable in her job.  So, we started working on what her new job would feel like, what parts of herself would shine and be appreciated in her new job.  She is really clear.  What’s happened has been pretty magical.  As she focused on what she wanted to feel like in her new job, she started to feel this vibration in her current job.  She still wants a new job and is actively creating it, yet what’s great is that while she knows her current job isn’t the best fit, she’s at least enjoying her time there. What’s also great is that as she looks for the new job, she’s vibrating what she wants and bringing these new vibrations of happiness and clarity to her job search, which will help her sync with the company and position that will be her match. Now she’s having fun in the process and feeling empowered.

Many say, everything happens for a reason, and they believe it. Even if they don’t know what the reason is, they have faith that they are better for it.  I believe the reason is inside of you.  The reason you find inside of yourself.  That reason vibrates in you.

You know what’s inside of you.  If you read this and you think, I don’t always know what I’m feeling inside.  I understand.  We often go through periods of change or transition when we don’t exactly know.  But we can.  Close your eyes and ask your body, what do you feel right now? Perhaps it’s confusion.  That’s a start.  If that’s not what you want to feel, then ask yourself what you do want, and refocus on the feeling and vibration of it.

The thing is, no matter what you create right now, you’ll want to create something else along the way.  That’s what life is all about.  The journey. The process.

Sometimes, the speed bump, the road construction, the accident in the road allows the truth of your feelings to be revealed.  Sometimes, a new perception uncovered.  Understanding the vibration of whatever you feel as you experience your journey is your truth.  Right in that moment. You are the creative mastermind of you.

Even when we feel happy, we can want to feel something new too.  Variety and creating is exciting to many.

Whatever your motivation, watch how as you sync with the vibration of what you want, the feeling manifests in your thoughts and experiences as it becomes your reality. It might not look like what you envisioned, but it will feel like what is inside of you.  Understand the magic of creating what you want to feel.  Why not love the ride–whatever it is?  Love the process, the journey, of you.  Love the feeling of you.

Cocreating: Exponential Energy

I have been busy and having so much fun cocreating and want to share a few experiences that have inspired me this week.

John and I hosted a workshop “Dream A Dream” last weekend, and the group was amazing.  What I watched unfold was the miracle of cocreating with others who are courageous and loving.  At the beginning of the workshop, we all briefly stated what we wanted to manifest this year.  One participant stated, “I want to create space in my life.”  After we grounded and talked about our beliefs about our goals, this participant courageously declared that she wanted to change her goal to what she really wanted, which was to be in a loving relationship with a man.  I felt the love in the other participants’ hearts flow to her as she expressed her true heart’s desire.  Then, a shift in the whole workshop occurred.  Other were empowered to clarify and more specifically declare their own goals.  As the participants worked through their restatements, I could feel their individual, the group, and the room’s vibration shift.  Then in 30 minutes, each person created an amazing vision board.  When each person shared their vision through their descriptions and their vision boards at the end of the workshop, there was so much love and respect flowing–for self, for others, and for the group.  As Gregg Braden notes: “Through the power of consciously focusing on the things that we create in our imagination, we give them the ‘nudge’ that brings them trough the barrier from the unreal to real.”  What do you want to bring to reality this year?

I am working with a client who wants to increase her business at her clinic.  We cocreated with the energy of the clinic.  After phase one of the work, the client emailed me to let me know that the energy in her space had complete changed—odd smells were gone, the light had changed, and best of all, her phone was ringing with clients calling to book sessions.  I am especially in awe of and in a complete state of gratitude for this experience as this client lives in Europe, we have never met—have had very little communication–and I have no clue what her physical space looks like or where it is.

I have a client who is an author who wanted her specific books to be in Amazon’s top 100 in her genre.  After we cocreated with the energy of her books, they were all in the top 100 in days.  Imagine Snoopy dancing.  That’s me.  (And probably her!) I so love it when others achieve their dreams.

I am finding that anytime I join in love with someone else to send love to someone or something, the energy is exponentialized.

Here’s an example.

I was talking to my son on the phone.  He was having a tough day.  Our phone call abruptly closed when he said, “Mom, I’ll call you back.”  The minute we hung up, I texted three friends I can count on to join with me in love.  My text was simple.  Please join with me in sending T love to the extent it is for his perfect and highest good.  Within seconds, I got responses.  “I’m on it.”  “Done!”  Within fifteen minutes, my son called back to report that he was fine, that everything had worked out beautifully, magically, better than he could have ever expected.

Notice something.  I did not ruminate over what was wrong or what needed fixing.  I focused on what I wanted—my son to feel the love and support of the universe. I called in support—cocreators in love.  We just sent our love to him for his highest good.  Whatever that was.  We were willing to allow the universe to handle the situation.  And it did.  Better than we ever could have even imagined.

I so appreciate the people in my life who I can ask, can you join with me in love?  We are so inspired by the beauty, joy and power of what happens when we send love together.  I so appreciate working with clients who are ready to cocreate with love, to consciously energize their lives, their creations with love.

In Peace and Love, Simone

5th Chakra Opening

When asked what happens in sessions with me, I am never quite sure what to say.  I know that sessions are magical, that I integrate many healing modalities, and that none look the same as what each person works on is different.  Below is an example of the kind of energetic and chakra work I do with clients.

I have been thinking about what I wanted to blog about in this new year, and I was feeling it would be examples of meditation or snippets from the work I do, and this morning I woke up to find this guest blog in my inbox, confirming and jump starting my intention.  I look forward to sharing more magical adventures this year!

Many thanks to Tammy Rosen Wilbur of Tucson Feldenkrais for gifting me with this amazing guest blog. Tammy has a saying I love–High water floats all boats. Love lifts everyone up. In celebration of this loving gift, I encourage everyone who reads this to say thank you or show gratitude to someone who has helped in some way–let’s lift each other up in love and gratitude.    Happy New Year!

_____________________________________________

I have long had a constriction in the back of my throat.  I’m a tongue-sucker.  At night my husband reports hearing clucking noises from me as I use a self-soothing method I probably chose as a baby.  The result is a tightness at the base of my skull, in my jaw and under my chin.

The metaphor behind this was first pointed out to me by the brilliant Taos, NM Feldenkrais® Practitioner Prisca Winslow Bradley.  She gave me a Functional Integration® lesson related to my tongue.  Afterward, I was telling her about a situation in which someone had displeased me, but I hadn’t talked to them about it.  She quirked an eyebrow at me.  “Well, don’t hold your tongue, Tammy!” she exclaimed meaningfully.  I had never connected the physical tongue clenching I had with the personality trait I had of keeping my mouth firmly shut in the face of conflict.

Even armed with this knowledge, releasing both the physical and the personality issue has not been easy.  I recently asked for an energetic healing session with Reiki Master Simone Gers to release my tongue.  She incorporates all kinds of healing modalities into her sessions – past life regression, Deeksha Oneness Blessings, intuitive counseling– whatever comes up for her as we journey together.

She “saw” many energetic cords wrapped around my neck from past lives, keeping me from speaking my truth.  Rather than tell me what they were from, she asked me.  While intuitive, my abilities don’t compare to Simone’s.  Still, it didn’t matter.  Answers appeared in the moment and it seemed more important that I see/speak them, than have them reported by her.

“What is this cord?” she asked.

“A handkerchief tied around my mouth,” I said.

“Who put it there?”

“My lover.”

I imagined it dissolving– clearing myself of this constriction.

“Who else put it there?”

I paused, stumped.  Then it was clear– if I’d just been able to dissolve it now, I should have been able to dissolve it then, too.  I’d had a choice and I’d accepted that gag.  “I did.”

“That’s right. It’s important to realize that,” she murmured.

We continued our work as she described that some of what I was feeling was tangled cords from multiple energetic bodies of past lives.  “Do you want to release the old bodies or keep them?”

I asked to release them but keep the lessons.  I felt a tightening in my throat and she said to relax, it was a knot that was being worked out.  It passed and a pain I had in my hip and opposite shoulder cleared as well.

We were doing the reiki lesson in my home Feldenkrais studio, and were interrupted at that moment by my four year old son.

“Mama, come here!” he said.

“I can’t right now, I’m working with Simone.”

“Katie needs to hear your voice,” he said, growing very agitated, starting to throw a full on fit.

It was a new feeling as I held fast to my own truth.  “No, I’m working with Simone right now.  I will help you when I’m finished.”

He crawled up on the table and threw himself over my body, holding the two sides of my face.  “You’re making a terrible mistake!” he said.

I had to laugh at the four year drama.  My daughter emerged from the room she’d locked herself into and I coached my son in talking to my daughter about his issue, while Simone sat down and waited patiently for my interruption to be over.  The children disappeared again and we resumed.

“Do you understand what just happened there?” she asked.

I knew that I’d not felt the sense of anxiety I usually felt when my son threw a fit.  His temper tantrum had struck me as innocent and child-like, whereas normally it would push my buttons.  The two of us often go toe to toe and it seemed like he won more often than I did.  This time I clearly felt like the “mom” in the situation and it was easy to hold my ground.

“You’d given him your voice and you just took it back.  That was why he was saying ‘You’ve made a terrible mistake, you’ve made a terrible mistake.’” she said.  “Then you helped him find his own voice.”

I could only laugh at the miracle that had just unfolded.  She further explained that I had given him my voice in many past lives, and we’d agreed that I would be his mother in this lifetime to teach him to use his own voice.

I felt tired afterward but the constriction in my throat was gone, as well as my hip and shoulder.  My tongue still felt as though it needed a Feldenkrais lesson or two to teach it how to relax and lie in the bottom jaw rather than be sucked up to the roof of my mouth but it felt like the driving force that was keeping it locked was gone.

Without the anxiety and tension that used to arise in the face of my son’s distresses, I am now able to see the bigger picture and coach him, as a parent should.

Could I have arrived at this same result through Feldenkrais lessons?  I believe absolutely that I could have — working with the physical aspect will indubitably bring about the metaphoric change as well.  But sometimes going to the heart of the energetic matter is a more direct and miraculous route.  I am grateful to experience this work with Simone as we journey together on a path of healing.

Chakras Energize Your Life

When you wake up in the morning, do you ever feel like something just isn’t right?  Or, perhaps, you experience days when you realize that something has shifted, but you can’t put your finger on what it is?

Perhaps your chakras need clearing and balancing.  Last week, I touched on this idea at the end of my post, and this week, I’m going to explore that topic.

Chakras are the energy centers of the body, and keeping them clear, balanced, and harmonized energizes you.  Helps you stay in the flow of life.

There are many ways to clear, balance and harmonize your chakras.  Some use meditation and consciousnly intend to clear their chakras. Others experience their chakras through one of their senses and can clear and balance through that sense.  Pendulums are another tool to clear and balnce the chakras.

I like using a pendulum because it can provide a physical manifestation of the status of a chakra–it can physically show the rate the chakra is turning, how open the chakra is, if it is closed, if it is adjusting, if there are emotional, physical, or energetic blockages are barriers, and if all of your chakras are harmonized.  I also like the data that a pendulum can provide.  If you track the blockages and barriers in the chakras, you can analyze the data to uncover core issues that you may want to transform.

Clearing and balancing your chakras so that you are energized and experience your natural flow of life is like keeping your car running well.  Would you want to drive around in a car that stalled, ran out of gas, was sluggish and you couldn’t depend on it to get you where you’re going?  Not!  Clearing, balancing, and harmonizing your chakras is the same as keeping your engine purring.

Keeping your chakras cleared, balanced and harmonized is a way to take care of yourself, love yourself on the energetic level.  If you eat well, you exercise, you take care of your skin, and you are committed to doing the kinds of things that help you to feel good, adding chakra clearing to your routine allows you to work on the energetic level.  After you learn how, it doesn’t take long.

I like to begin my day by clearing, balancing, and harmonizing my chakras and setting an intention for the day.  In this way, I begin my day with a positive attitude and outlook.  I begin feeling joyful, happy, excited.  Most of the time, I stay in that state of mind, and my day flows.  I seem to drive through a lot of green lights and find a check-out line that has just opened up.  People seem to be nice to me.  I experience general pleasantness in all of my activities.  Many of my friends will say, we need you to bring over some sparkly Simone dust.  What everything in the universe is responding to is my vibrational alignment.  When I start getting red lights or even stuck in traffic, that’s a signal to me that I may be stuck and need to clear my chakras.  And I do.  Who wants life to be a constant stream of stuck, blocks, difficulty?

I’m sure you’ve experienced times when everything you do seems to happen quickly and easily.  When everyone you encounter is friendly, helpful, glad to see you.  And then you may experience times when you wonder if anything will go right.  Imagine being able to say to yourself, I can create a shift right now.  And then being able to do it in a few minutes.  How magical would that be?  Well, you can.

And it’s relatively simple.

To help you get started, I created a youtube video in which I show you how to make and program a pendulum if you don’t have one and how to clear the emotional and physical blocks or barriers, balance and harmonize your chakras. I hope you’ll check it out, like it, and share it with others if you find it helpful.  After all, the more people who are clearing, balancing, and harmonizing their chakras, the happier we can all be as we cocreate in this amazing life.  The higher we all vibrate, the better the whole world is.  Let me know how it goes for you and enjoy!

Thanksgiving Afterglow

I hope you had a fantastic Thanksgiving–that you enjoyed yourself, wherever you were and whatever you chose to do.
I had a lovely week with family who drove in from Louisiana, Texas, and New Mexico.  With a home full of fabulous Cajun cooks, we enjoyed preparing and sharing food, lots of story telling and laughing, and creating new memories.  I received many emails, texts and phone calls from my friends and family scattered across the states.  Several times on Thanksgiving morning, I heard a text come in and read the text to my family, often with tears in my eyes as the love of my friends filled me up.
Just before Thanksgiving, my friend Robin emailed me a note about a recent trip she took, and her story filled my heart in so many ways.  I so appreciate that Robin took the time to write down parts of her trip for me.  She knows I love to travel and how much I enjoy hearing about her adventures, and in this particular story, she shared with me that I was with her in spirit.  When I read her anecdote, I felt so loved, such appreciation–not only for my friend Robin and for the time she took to share something so special, but also for her trip, the road, the view, the people walking, for all of my friends who share their lives with me and who share my life with me–so much appreciation and love filled me.
After reading her note, I sat there looking at the screen and reflecting on my journey. I am so thankful for my journey as through everything, I have become who I am right now.  As I reflected on my journey, I acknowledged that several years ago, reading this kind of love from someone I truly respect and enjoy would have been so hard for me–I would have struggled to accept a compliment like this.  I remember receiving an award at work, and immediately coming off of the stage, I walked away from the celebration, back to my office to be by myself.  I was overwhelmed by the recognition–it was hard to receive.  Now, I understand that the universe reflects back to me what is inside of me, and if I am in balance, I can receive the gift with love and pleasure.
     Robin wrote:
Here’s an anecdote for you. I was standing at the top of a hill, waiting for my ride outside a restaurant on a little mountain overlooking the sea in Costa Rica last Thursday night. A group of four people–two couples–passed by, older by a few years than I am–and without really looking, they registered as Americans. One woman, short, glowing skin, shockingly white clipped hair, lagged slightly behind her group. I was looking down the bumpy road and comparing it to a mountain road in Nicaragua, but she caught my eye for reasons I cannot explain. I smiled at her and stared hard as she also smiled walking past me. I was left with a kind of photographic after affect, a glow, like a light had gone off after a flash.
I found out later she is a reiki master, gifted according to my Costa Rican friend.
She is you.
One litmus test of self love is the ability to accept a compliment.  When you receive a note of thanks or a compliment, how do you reply?  What is your reaction?  Your response is an indicator of your ability to recieve love and abundance.
Balance is present when we can both receive and give–whether that is a compliment, a kind word or deed, a helping hand, whatever is offerred.  Just as important as receiving and appreciating something is giving.  Is it easy for you to say thank you?  To smile at someone?  To lend a helping hand?  To be of service?  Can you let a car go in front of yours?  Do you hold the door open for the person after you?  Do you smile at people?  Each time we give–no matter what energy we are sharing . . .  from a smile, to a hand, to a gesture, to a throught–we allow love and abundance to flow through us, just as receiving indicates that we allow love and abundance to flow through us.
At Thanksgiving Time, many of us take the time to say thanks.  That’s fantastic!  It’s important to be thankful, appreciative, throughout the year.  Why not take the time to share with someone a special memory, a thank you, an anecdote just because?  I would love for you to join me for the Thanksgiving Afterglow, in which we spread the magic of love.
I have so appreciated the comments, emails, and phone calls from those who are enjoying my blog.  Each time I hear from one of you, my heart swells.  In the spirit of appreciation and gratitude, I would like to share with you a gift.  With the help and encouragement of my friend, Tammy, I recorded a youtube video on how to make a pendulum and use it to clear and balance your chakras.  Our chakras are our energy centers, and when they are cleared, balanced, and harmonized, we flow through our days.

Clear and Balance Your Chakras with a Pendulum.

I hope you enjoy, and I’d love to hear about your experience.  In peace and love, Simone

Chakras:  Gateway to Higher Consciousness

Our energy centers, the chakras are sending out vibrational signals to the universe and attracting to us where we are in balance, flow and harmony and where we have the opportunity to align. Whether we are conscious of it or not, energy blockages or barriers in the chakras are reflected in our life experiences.  Understanding the emotional, physical, and energetic aspects of each chakra and how to clear the blockages or barriers that emerge to balance chakras promotes energetic alignment with our true nature.  Exploring the blockages or barriers that show up in our chakras allows us the opportunity to uncover core issues, perceptions or beliefs to heal, transform, expand, and experience higher states of consciousness.

Love Songs

How do you speak to the person you are in love with?  What are some of the phrases you say to that person?  I love you. You are beautiful.  I love the way you make me feel. Thank you. I am so happy to be here with you. I can’t wait to spend time with you.  I love taking care of you.  What do you say about your loved ones to others?  He makes me so happy. She brings out the best in me. I want to be my best when I am with him.

Do you speak to yourself in similar ways?  Do you tell yourself I love you?  I am beautiful.  I feel good about myself.  Thank you.  I am happy to be me.  I can’t wait to do something for myself.  I love taking care of myself.  The things you say to yourself, about yourself are a reflection of your love for yourself.

Several years ago I had knee replacement, and during the recovery process, I went shopping with a friend. We found that we were at different racks, and we’d call out to the each other and hold something up, and it was the same shirt or dress. I was trying on a few things in the fitting room, and she brought a dress for me to try on. Here, she said. Try this on—you’ll look great in this. So, I tried the dress on. I did look good, but the dress was a little short for me. I walked out to show her and look in the mirror, and she said, Wow. You look amazing.

Yeah, I said, I like it, but it’s short. I hate my knees showing. She said to me, if you talked about me like that, I’d want to be replaced too. Then she turned and walked away. I stood there looking in the mirror at my knees, and I suddenly realized what I had been telling them almost my whole life. Right there, as I stood looking at my knees in the mirror, I said, I’m sorry. I love you kneesThank you for taking care of me on this journey. I sent them love. I bought the dress.

Every time I look at my knees, I say, thank you.  I love you. My perception of my knees as knobby goes back to when I was just a girl in dance class. But, now that I am telling them that I love them every chance I get, they are changing shape, they are so pleasing to me when I look at them.  I genuinely feel love for them. I feel their beauty.

What are you telling yourself during the day?  Do you say thank you?  Are you grateful for your body?  Do you appreciate your mind?  Your looks?  Your coordination?  Your energy?  How do you speak to yourself.  Would you stick around and listen to yourself or would you walk away if you could?  When you buy clothes, what are the things you think or mutter to yourself?  When you look in the mirror, what do you think?  What do you say to yourself when you forget something?  Take a wrong turn?  Misplace something?  Do you believe in yourself?  Do you encourage yourself?  Do you say, good job?  Yeah me?

Consider when you energize–verbalize or think–negativity about yourself, you release to the universe the message I don’t love myself. I don’t deserve to be loved, to hear love, to be thanked, to be honored, which is reflected back to you.

When you energize love to yourself in thought, action, word, you reflect to the universe your love for yourself, which is reflected back to you.  Intend to speak to yourself as you would to someone you love.

Everything you say to yourself has the potential to be a love song.  If you miss a turn or are running late, can you perceive that you will arrive in divine timing–at the perfect moment for you?  Imagine yourself walking in feeling confident that all is well. When you look in the mirror, can you choose to like what you see?  If you like what you see, you will engage more confidently, comfortably, lovingly in everything you do during the day. Can you find something to admire? I look like I feel good today. Imagine if you feel good about yourself throughout your day how others will feel good about you too.  If you get tired during the day, can you love your body for it’s work?  I worked so hard and am thankful for my body for doing everything it could to get me through.  I appreciate it signaling to me that I need to take care of it, myself, and rest. In moments when you feel stupid or awkward, can you perceive something different?  Thank your highest self for the opportunity to look at or feel something new, learn something new. Appreciate the opportunity to experience disequillibrium and learn balance. Saying something as simple I love learning changes the song you sing to yourself.

As you move through your week, I encourage you to think about the way you talk to yourself and be your own best friend, love and admire yourself. Engage your sense of humor and appreciation.  Value what you do. Value your efforts.  Appreciate who you are.  Love yourself enough to speak to yourself with love and respect.

Consider how your day might transform if every morning when you are getting dressed, brushing your teeth, fixing your hair, and looking in the mirror, you say to yourself, thank you.  I love you.  I appreciate you today.  And then intend to express appreciation and love to yourself all day long.  If you consciously intend to express love, kindness, gratitude and appreciation to yourself throughout the day, how might you feel differently by the end of the day?

This week, I encourage you to play your own love songs—through your thoughts, words and actions. You may realize that you need to record some new tracks.  You may realize you love yourself in some ways and have the opportunity to improve in others. When you love yourself, you send the message to the universe that you deserve love, and the universe will reflect that song back to you.   When you sing love songs to yourself, the world harmonizes with you.

I hope you fall in love with the melodies and tunes of your own thoughts, actions, and words.  I would love to hear how you harmonized with your own love songs this week.  Please keep me posted.
